Plot: Walter Black (Mel Gibson) is a seriously depressed man who lives with his wife Meredith (Jodie Foster) and two sons. After she kicks him out he becomes even more depressed, he turns to a beaver puppet to talk for him. His wife sees that it is making him better, as he returns to his job as owner of Jerry Co. But after a while she asks him to remove the puppet, but by now the puppet has physically taken over his actions. Walter becomes scared of the puppet and finally comes to cutting off his own arm to remove the puppet.
My Thoughts: I found this film quite odd. It had a good storyline which was very easy to follow, but at the same time it was very emotional and shows some of the true sides of severe depression. It also has a romantic side to the story with one of his sons who is falling in love but at the same time trying to cope with his father having his troubles.

My thoughts: I thought that this was an amazing film. The storyline was brilliant and easy to follow and they found some amazing actors to play the roles in the film, filling it with comedy and danger.
